are they nice, ok or just plain bad!, any good schools round there, parks, lakes, woods etc?

we need somewhere close that is a very open space for walking the dog and riseing bikes etc

also, shops? need some little shops near by for when Jase is at work, i dont drive so i would be stuck if i ran out of bread lol

anything anyone can tell me about these areas would be great, thanks!

We are also looking at Daventry now, its so hard to do this coz we have no clue on areas, i have found a few pics and info about whats around there on the net, but as for bad areas, and reps i dont know, im not to good at searching for in depth things on the net, im a basic type of girl lol

I like the idea of Daventry, its close to where our family and friends are, Slough, Reading, St Albans

Derby is miles away but its good for prices and space.

We just cant seem to make up our minds! lol

oh its lovely, i dont know anything about the areas you have mentioned, but i do know buxton is just lovely,,,think its near derby...may just have a done a really bad scottish person not having a clue about english geography but hey....
