and old people say we have no respect!

well, im on a rant.

theres a VERY old lady who lives with her son at no3 (im at no1)
basically, we live on a kinda cul-de-sac, no cars allowed on this street so its pretty safe for my 7yr old son to play on. now, as its kinda summer, my son plays out alot with the other kids on the street but hes not allowed near the main roads like the others kids are (there parents arnt exactly..decent people)

but everytime my son plays out, guess who wonders onto the street threatening to phone the police...the nasty old woman at no3! ive had soooo many arguments with her, its stupid! she doesnt like kids playing on the street, she says these 4-7yr olds will vandalise her house and garden (which she doesnt have on her front!) yea ok, my sons playing on his rollerblades and is gonna come at your house with spray paints and bricks!!! we live on this street too and my son is not allowed near the road! she has no right to tell him to get off the street!!! i usually tell her to go away and tell the kids to ignore her ( shes actually so scary that most kids run off crying from her! )

anyway, shes gone one step too far this time.
my friends next door (no2)has 2 indoor cats and lets them have a play in her back garden for about and hour each evening. they dont do any harm, just wonder around the fencing then go in.

old bat at no3 has been putting poisen on her shed roof to poisen the cats!! what!!! they dont go on her garden! the odd time theyve jumped onto her shed but thats it. they do there mess in the house and dont disturb anyone!

im angry cos shes just nasty. the kids arnt allowed to play out and neither are our pets.

what are we to do???

Complain, complain & complain. If you ring the police up explain what's been going on with her. (How she's trying to rule the roost, etc) a few times, the police will probably come to her house & have a word. They won't come if you only ring once. Keep pestering them, to show them how bad she is. We have one similar on our street. She's even put camera's on her house, so if my brother and his mates hang out on front and make a bitta noise, She can show the police how many there are, she's a witch!

ASBO time! Seriously though, such antisocial behaviour as trying to poison neighbours cats can be taken quite seriously if there is a catalogue of things she has done. Keep a diary and get evidence where you can and contact the council or police about it.

ive told gemma next door to phone the police about the poisen as theres no excuse why she has put it up there other than to kill her cats. im sure she can get done for it!

but gemmas hot headed..shes not happy..the old ladys in her late 80's early 90's and i dont think gemma gonna let her die of old age. i can just see it now, front page of paper, old lady found dead with stiletto in head. classy gem! lol

the lady is old tho, i know it sounds very very cold but i doubt she has much longer to go. it may just be a small waiting game.

Oh dear! Beating up old ladies will go down worse with the coppers than poisoning pets! She does sound a bit horrid though. Maybe a community worker or someone could come round and discuss stuff with her?

Thats definately a council issue. And maybe the RSPCA can help with the poison thing - they would definately come round and have a chat with her. Keep us updated!!

What IS it with old ladies? My mate at work was having a similar problem with the old lady down the road. Think advice given above is spot on. I wouldn't let it rest ... x

What a total battleaxe, is she scared the cats will piss on her broom!?!
The rspca will do for trying to harm the cats, so that a defo, and make a record of everything she does, then when the police and council do get involved, you can show them exactly what she is like.

well, theres no poisen out at the mo as the rain washed it away but im keeping an eye out as im in all day. if i can catch her putting it down again, that will make a start. and...if i do catch her, im going to confront her in person, with my phone camera on record. see what her excuse is.

gemmas playing her at her own game tho, there was a cat lastnight moewing on there kitchen roofs which is just under there back bedroom windows(the kitchens on this street at extentions so the roofs are low) so gemma thought she'd feed the cat on the roof so it keeps coming back moewing at 4am each morn lol it doesnt bother gemma as shes already up at 4am however, the old lady, i bet shes fuming!

thanks for all the advice ladies! lets hope i can catch her red handed on camera!
