Washing Machine Problem

Wonder if anyone can help me ,
I put the wash on and it will spin and do all the right stuff washing it but when it comes to draining out it wont drain the water and it wont spin to dry off the water off the clothes.

I havent checked the pipes or anything cos i cant do that , i will have to wait till OH comes home. But does anybody know what we should be looking for , we both dont have a clue!

Thanks

Had the exact same problem couple of weeks back we were looking at the back, but on ours there is a panel on the front which you pull out and then ther's like a pipe with plugstop on. We had to take that off(beware empty the washing machine of water first)
The problem was OH glasses cleaner and two hairclips. Some washing machine's might not have the front panel though. Ours is fine again now x

Right its working again now , my OH just pulled it out and put it back in :S So god knows what that done , we put it on a wash without clothes just now , and it washes fine and even drys now BUT its still making a loud humming sound?? Would that be the pipe??

Yea we do have the thing at the front ill have to tell OH to look at that after this 'wash' we have put it on. I hope we dont need to call someone out , really cant afford the over the top prices they charge

Look in the yellow pages, i went with the ad that said no call out charge and free quotes.
