You were banned?!? Do I want to know why?

My mum ended up making mine!

I think a lot of the department stores have sales on at the moment, so might be worth it... if you find something that's not beaded, you could take it to a seamstress, most of them will be quite reasonable to put some beading on it for you.

http://www.quizclothing.co.uk/shop/p...sku=1006004374 - similar pattern, etc to dress you posted, but it's a halterneck.

Sorry I haven't read the whole thread - I shouldn't even be on here I have SO much to do, but saw this thread and had to put in a reply.

Isn't it exciting getting ready for that big (or not so big, but you know!) day?! The prep for mine was so manic as MrBum proposed in July... and we got married in January! (But we were lazy for the first few months bar buying a wedding dress - and all the preparation was a mad rush between December and the big day one month and a bit on! lol

Debenhams have some nice stuff in (have been shopping for my sisters wedding) as do BHS. Can't seem to find it on their websites tho I'd definately reccomend a shop around town looking in these stores to see if their bridal, bridesmaid or prom dresses are what you are looking for.

Saw this one the other day but I'm not sure it's what you're looking for (it's ivory and slightly longer than knee length - but still very elegent and simplistic). It's within a reasonable price range (£45) and looks quite beautiful

Best of luck! Do let us know which dress you decide to go with once you have it!

You could try Monsoon too. They do lots of nice dresses and can get them cheap on Ebay.
