I think she was pointing out that rgardless of the 'law' people really don't give a hoot or do much about it from something as little as a job interview or as extreme as knife crime!

Just because its against the law doesn't mean it doesn't happen!

Faced in the position and how you felt sox I doubt I'd have argued with them either and like you walk away feeling rather pants because even if they said 'ok' you know the other girl is still getting hired.

I totally know the feelin hun! I live in a small village where there is nothing..town is a 45min bus ride away sooo its a hassle gettin there each day..the city is overpopulated anyhow so that doesnt help. Not to mention i have to find something part time that will fit in with my baby boy..which is impossible! I've always worked as a support worker which is shift work..lates, earlier, nights, weekends..and obviously a childminder will not work all over the place like that!! I totally empathise with u chick, its sooo diffucult. hugs- When i do get interviews by the way..i beleive they already have decided who they wanna employ by the time its your turn..always the case for me, so i know where ur coming from x

i hate looking for a job. its so depressing. ive been unemployed for 2months now. both me ad my partner. were in so much debt its untrue and the stress is just unbeleiveable. were staying with my mom atm and looks like that could be the way for at least a couple of years!!! (depressing or what after 8 years of being in our own place)

im just thinking do i was to be pregnant and raise the baby here or in our own home? but the time is right now for us to TTC after 8 years together, i just dont want to wait till im nearer 30, its just not the way i thought it would be if you know what i mean.

hope you get some good news on the job front soon hun

ok, now this IS weird. litterally 5 minutes after posting on here about not having any luck finding a job, i get a phone call saying i have an interview for assistant manager!!!! omg.....i need this job now!!!
