We have been toying with the idea of Florida, but rather than go in the summer months we are now looking at December??

I know Florida has sun all year round but is it still fairly hot in December?

We thought it would be fantastic going when the whole place is done out for Christmas. We're not going until 2009 and Olivia will be coming up 2, but just thought i'd make early enquirys

If you're looking for beach weather December probably isn't the best month. If not, then it's not going to be cold (IMO) and it shouldn't be too rainy either. I've also been told that about 2 weeks before Xmas is one of the slower times of year tourist-wise.

If you do want beach weather I highly recommend May. It's not unbearably hot yet if you're not used to the heat, lines aren't that long because most of the kids are still in school, airline flights are typically cheaper beginning to mid May, and the rainy season doesn't really get started until June.

it was gorgeous!! PLus you get all the christmasy theme!!
We had great weather... see my pic of me with buzz and you can see what I was wearing!!! I think too hot would be too much as its such a action filled holiday!!

The mickeys very merry christmas party is great too!! So odd seeing a christmas tree when its hot lol!!
Also at the water park.. (a hot day) frosty the snowman was being played!! very odd indeed when its so summy lol!!

Where in Florida? Orlando? Im only asking because the further north you go, the cooler it will be . Example you could have a cold front come through and it could be 54F in Orlando, but 65-70F in Miami. Dec is usualy warm , where Im at which is 2 hours South East of Orlando, most of the time its about 80F on X-Mas If you ever have any questions about places to visit etc in FL, please feel free to PM.
