Actually, where I live and probably Vickie notices this too since she lives in the big city of Toronto, is that with a higher population and being one of the bigger cities in Canada, it's so rush-rush around here that many people forget to slow down and actually smile and say hello.
I find people rude around here whereas when I lived in a smaller city in Alberta they were more relaxed and civil. |

Just like everywhere there are good and bad BUT overall, I think we try and be nice to the people around us. Of course, we alllll have our bad days too
As an Albertan I like to think we're perfect but with the boom and everyone overworked you can really see the difference. Lots more attitude than even just a few years ago. |

Or perhaps Edmonton as my second choice. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | hahaha. And then there is us Newfies down here who are a breed all of our own
I have to say though, I haven't had great experiences with people from the mainland. Most of the people that come here are from Ontario and then decided that while they are visiting they must be completely rude to every Newfoundlander they meet. Very charming And people from New Brunswick are always a PLEASURE to deal with.
No offense to any Ontarians or New Brunswickers! haha I'm sure there's idiots amongst us all. |

And I do agree with leeanne to an extent, but I grew up in a very small town in the Texas Panhandle. If you did the shoving in front of people and cutting them off type thing that is standard here (it is a big city) you'd be shot in my hometown But there are some very nice people here too, probably the same as everywhere |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Bahahaa I didn't mean you! I mean those people when you hold the door open for them they snap at you and tell you they can do it themselves |
