Thanks everyone.
It was an odd sort of day. Had my scan in the morning, then dropped boiling coffee on my lap, then helped DH do his sample in the pot, dropped that off to a different hospital, then had my tattoo done, then DH took me for lunch, then popped to the local for a drink with my friends that had picked their kids up from school, then came home, had loads of visitors and a bbq. It was lovely, but painful!!!
