I thought it was really good, but I was a bit shocked at how much prejudice there was, in general society, about disabled people. I mean, of course I know it's there, I live it and fight against it every day, but there was such a bad focus on their disabilities too. I admire the ambition of the program though, and I agree that the person who wins should have an obvious disability, but in the same respect, many disabilities are invisible in photographs.
Maybe Joe Public will treat disabled people like they would anyone else, after this program? |
