I'm Currently Feeling: | How much!! bloody gas bill Had our review bill from the EDF today.. our payments are rising from £25 per month to £44!! our Electric is rising from £7 per month to £21!!
And now they say they are taking back payment of £244 because the direct debits they set up didn't cover the bill! Hubby is going to phone up later and have a go at them! they cant just randomly take extra paymoents out, appart from fact we are over drawn anyway so wont have that amount of money in there.
I know they said fuel bills were going to go up but this is crasy! I hate to think about OAPs who get the same bill increases!
Can hardly afford to buy food let alone keep up with all the increasing bills.
At the moment it would be very tempting to sell the house and go and live on our boat! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | unfortunately hypnorm they can just take it!!!
Its crappy but it seems that they just underestimated how much your bills were each month so have now caught up!!!
We were with NPower (electricity alone) and was on a £25 per month (on an estimate reading)!!!
They then wrote and said the next payment will be £84 (based on our estimate)!!! We phoned with our proper reading and stupid idiots left the direct debit at £84 per month!!! Surely sense would tell them a 2 bedroom flat that has gas central heating wouldnt spend this much!! But they still have taken it!! Were now on duel fuel with British Gas and waiting for a cheque from NPower!!
But like you said its lucky we had that money in our account... !!
BILLS..... imagine life... bill free would be great!!! |
