Arghhhhh Mice...

Oh my god. Okay, in my kitchen we have wire draws full of food. I live in a 150 year old manor house, so many little cracks for mice to get in the house, as you can imagine the house isn't in the best condition. Holes everywhere. Plenty of 'mouse' gaps. Well anyway this mouse keeps coming back and back and back. We catch it, it comes back. My mum and dad wont get rid of it in a non-humane way. Have tried everything. How the hell am I supposed to get it away and keep it away? I just picked up a packet of salt and vinegar crisps and I put one in my mouth and there was loads of them fell out of the bag onto the floor. I looked at the packet, mouse hole. Spat the crisp out, was nearly sick. Argh germs.

Before anyone suggests there is way too much food there, I can't move it. Nowhere for it to go.

Thanks. X

You can't keep mice out. You can buy humane traps though or get a cat, they'll soon move out!

you can't move it out, unless you get a cat. I would say have you thought about putting your food in tubs, like pasta, crisps, cereal etc so the mice can't get at it

Yuck - I hate mice and rats.

We put peanut butter in our humane mouse trap but forget to check if there were any in there. Oops, stiff mouse.

We have a cat, A cat that always brings mice. Just not this one. Its like a tiny vole. Haven't tried a humane trap yet, but we caught the last 3 in like Pringle tub's and stuff but they still came back everytime. I dont know what i'm going to do about it, its driving me mad. Thanks for the tub idea, ill see what I can do about that. There really is so much food there though, there is 6 draws ful to the brim with pasta, rice, vitamins, lentils, all types of dried food, 100 or so different types of herbal tea haha (only thing they dont nibble through, I wonder why? Haha)

Mine would take seriously about 6 weeks to feel all the holes if I did it 24/7. Suppose I will just have to let the mouse be, for the mean time. AGAIN!!!
