I was getting my son to sleep. I started to nod off aswell, and was in a doze when the house phone started to ring...
I waited for it to stop and waited and waited and WAITED! No lie, it must have gone on for about 3 minutes. So i got up and went to answer it, it was the NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Currently Feeling: | I HATE when people do that - I used to do some work from home and people would call my house phone and let it ring and ring because they knew I'd be home - but nearly always on my work phone so unable to answer. When I finally got an answering machine some idiots would call until the machine kicked in, then hang up and call again! Used to piss me off massively.
The fact it was your next door neighbour is even worse!!! |
