Haha, I do that on the internal intercom system in our house... especially if I've just got comfy at my desk!
Pisses me off when people keep ringing the phone though, if you're not there, or you're not picking up, then bugger off!!
My mum does this (i live and work in her house at the mo) and if i don't answer the house phone she'll ring my mobile... always when i'm trying to have a crafty hour's peace in the bath lol!
