I don't think I remember my hubby ever doing anything romantic, and we've known each other for 17 years. Oh, he did get down on one knee in the rain to propose, but he did it at our local airport in the parking lot. Sigh. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Iīm not really big on romantic stuff myself, so DH hasnīt got a hope in hell really!! He did try the breakfast in bed routine one valentines day a few years ago, but got short thrift from me as I was on lates that day and he woke me up really early!!! Added to which he burnt one lot of toast (cos he went in the shower whilst it was in the toaster and instead of popping up, the toast got stuck!!), so to get rid of the burnt toast smell he left all the windows wide open and went to work - when I finally got up a few hours later the flat was bagging freezing!!!
One of the nicest things he has ever done for me though, was buy me a baby guinea pig when we moved into our own place - hadnīt been allowed pets before as we were renting - the move was really stressful (we moved in the middle of a snowstorm!), and I was getting really grumpy. The following day he sneaked off for a bit and I didnīt think anything of it, I assumed he was buying paint etc. When he said heīd bought something for our appartment I also assumed it would have a plug on it - so I was dead chuffed and surprised to find her sitting there. Prob not the most romantic thing in the world, but I was happy!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Nicest thing my OH has done was when he proposed to me he had the florist make up a bouquet of red roses and place a tiny diamante inside the centre of each of the roses to match with my ring ... i was soooooo touched he'd thought of that all by himself to make the gesture even more lovely |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i would say the most romantic thing oh did was last year i went to go visit my brother in halifax and he told me all the while he couldnt make it and such but when i got in halifax he was at there house waiting for me with my puppy he got me; it was sop sweet he treated me right special that day with a movie and dinner and a walk around a beach late at night! Now camping by a beach and taking night time walks and watching the sun set is our new things cuz of that one day!
Another thing he did for me was recently when we had our ultrasound was buy me pink and red roses along with a supper at KFC! ( i was craving)!
we have many more but those are the only two that i can type right this second! |

| My fiance had plans on taking me away to another country and proposing. However, his plans got messed up when we found out I was pregnant. He was upset about the plans going awry, but did something else instead.
He first saw me in 2004 and had stood next to me and my friend. He would always see me around since we have mutual friends and go to the same places. We actually spoke a few times, but he said he always admired me from a distance. He was also in other relationships at the time, so he never pursued me because of where he was at the time. Eventually, by a fluke, we got together after he chased me.
When I was 2 months pregnant, we went out to the same place where he first saw me. He grabbed me by the hand and whisked me upstairs. I thought something was wrong, like he saw one of his ex's who goes to the same places.
He placed me where I had been standing that first time he saw me and told me how I was standing and where he was that day. In front of all of our friends and everyone and their dog, he got down on one knee, pulled out a box with a ring and asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I dont like to talk to much about this lol but here goes
My oh took me to estertit, as he knew i loved it. Then one day he made me promise I would do as he asked without questioning him. So I did. Around 5 I got changed, he asked me to put something nice on. Then he made me stay in the room for a wee while. Pretty annoying lol Anyway, we headed off it. He was looking lovely.
He didnt tell me where we were going but we ended up at the beach. By this time it was night, clear skies. He asked me to turn around and when he was ready I turned back around to see he had made his own little picnic. Wtih strwberrys and cream and bubbly yummy. We more of less had the beach to ourselves. Once we'd finished eating he proposed to me.
This is were it takes a turn for the worse lol I said no. I mean, I loved him, but it wasnt the right time for me. I wanna get engaged n have a huge party. And my family just wouldnt have accepted it then. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | The most romantic thing Jay ever did for me he did on the night I broke up with him And that's probably why he's never done anything like it since.
He cooked me dinner and after wards he sang and played the guitar to a song he wrote for me. He was so nervous he had sweat dripping off his forehead. I think he did it for me because he was in love with me but was afraid to tell me. Yeah I feel like a total cow now but I didn't know he had it planned. I wish he'd do more stuff like that now (we obviously got back together after that horrible fiasco)
But I love him to bits |

I'm Currently Feeling: | When I was pregnant with my little girl I was bidding on a maternity bundle on ebay, anyway the auction was way past my bedtime and I knew I'd never get them. But my oh stayed up till the early hours(without me saying a word to him) and not only kept bidding on the items but won them too and paid far more for them than I would have. Thats romance/love for me. |
