Ive always used baby wipes or just a damp cloth and very very dilute fairy up liquid

I find baby wipes clean most things really well. Try cleaning your trainers with them, it brings them up really shiny. I imagine they'd be great on leather sofas. My boyfriends mum uses household wipes and they work fine.

Polish ruins leather sofas in the end - my aunt did it to hers and when I was deciding if to or not to buy a leather the girls here said they ruined theirs by polish (RachieH was defo one).
About 3-4 years...but i dont clean my everyday or anything, its about once every 2 months i polish it properly, usually in between i use baby wipes.

Don't buy the Mr Sheen Leather wipes - they're poop!!!

My Sofa's the same.....milk splashes everywhere, I clean it and it ends up dirty again.....I've given up cleaning it!!

i use baby wipes to give a quick clean. Furniture polish or proper leather wipes (dont know what their called but u can get them in asda) to give it a good clean.

Thanks for this thread Wobbles!


It has made me clean my leather sofas tonight!

I used a spray bottle of warm water to clean them first, then put son of a gun leather cleaner onto a dry cloth to shine them up. It worked a treat and no more milk stains I also found milk stains on the Tv cabinet and my living room door and good table but all clean now....who would have thought BnB would get the housework done

just plain old soapy water does the trick for me, then we got this special treatment stuff with it that you use every 6 months to care for the leather, if u dnt have this maybe contact the sofa company ?
