DH's parents are Grandad and Grandma. My folks are Granny and Grandad - a bit confusing but tough!

My folks live abroad and did suggest that Dylan calls them "Mammy" and "Pappy" but as I don't want him to get beaten up when he mixed with other kids we scrapped that idea and stuck with british names!

They'll be Nana and Granda. I actually didn't grow up using either of these names, nan and pop are fairly standard here. But!! Mom wants to be called Nana cause she thinks its cute, and I'm after hearing Granda a LOT here lately, and I think its sweet. Dad doesn't care.

Kaya has 4 grannies and 2 grandads! - My mum and her partner are granny Laurie and granny Sandra (though mum doesn't want to be called 'granny' just Laurie lol), my dad is grandad and his wife is granny Joy. OH's mum is Nanny Eggleton and his dad is grandad.
