Group Interview?

I have a job interview on Saturday (Saturday NIGHT to be exact!) and it says it's a group interview. I've never been to a group interview before. Has anyone been to one and know what it could entail? (because I'm scared ). If I get through the group interview, then it's a one-to-one interview after that. x

sounds like what they do at asda?..... they have group interviews and have you doing really random stuff like group posters, and building houses out of a deck of cards as a group etc ... or giving presentations then they decide who they liked the best so they will be constantly watching!!! eeeee. ! good luck! x

the idea behind the group interview is to see how you interact with other, if you are a teamplayer, how you work things out, how you converse with them and your reactions to others in different situations, just be yourself, very positive, take a back seat at times but also take the front and show your leadership skills...

they may ask you to do roleplays with each other aswell as stand and introduce yourself to the group saying who yo uare where your from, why you want the job, what you bring to the company and why you should be employed above others...

good luck

Yea, I did one at Mothercare. We played games like chatting to each other, then telling the group about the other person. We were given a sale item and had 5 minutes to look at it's features then had to give a quick presentation about it. We then had one to one interviews.

It was nerve racking for me at first because I didn't know it was a group thing but it was fine in the end and good for group bonding.

Also, had a group interview at Tiger Tiger for bar training, we had a chat about the best experiences of our life, why we wanted to work there and then made drinks etc. That was pretty good fun.

Good luck
