There are some sick people out there. To shoot an innocent adult/teenager is bad enough but to hurt a child is just beyond words

Think it was accidental, I can see how anyone can can purposely harm a toddler. BTW not saying im not shocked and disgusted though, im just saying I dont think it was purposely done.

Another point, I dont disagree with firearms such as air rifles. They aren't illegal for certain purposes. They aren't the sort of gun used to go out and shoot people, you would use a much more effective firearm. Its illegal firearm's like handguns etc. I disagree with, you don't go hunting for instance with a handgun. the sole purpose of guns like this is for protection or for use on a human. Right?

Gun crime should stop, but its gone to the point now where it will just be a regular occurance. Last year 23 teenagers were killed in gun related crime. This year already that figure has been hit and smashed, looking at nearly 30 killings already this year. By the end of the year i expect the number of deaths will be close to 100. But what can stop these kids? Not alot, they are arrogant, everything is about respect, how do you get it? By carrying a weapon. (Or so they seem to think).

I suppose we just sit back and watch it? Stupid as anything. They need tighter laws on imports in this country, how is it that firearms are allowed to slip through the net? The government must allow it, to a certain extent.

Oh my god rant over I think. Sorry people.

my dad is a firearms officer i have no problem with guns, just the twats that think they are big and cleaver for waving them around in the streets.

theres a massive knife culture where i live i think they are worse.

I used to have guns when I lived in the U.S. However, I was a responsible owner, took safety courses and was licensed. It is the idiots who use guns in an irresponsible manner and criminals who are the problem. Not the law-abiding people.

On a side note: is it me or is this gun ban not working? Last year, two people I know had a gun pulled on them from some idiot on their way home from a club.
