Could have strangled my dog!

I bought an iced coffee from Starbucks after dropping off my son at preschool this afternoon. These last me more than a few hours.

So, when I had to go get my kids from school, I left the dog in my house as she just dirties the car seats so much.

I got home 20 minutes later and my bloody dog had knocked my coffee on the floor and had drank it all while I was gone.

She was in some deep trouble.

Also, she has been wrecking our blinds as she's goes crazy when we leave her in the house and the next door neighbor's dog is outside.

Time to bring that dog cage back out!

Oh, that so sucks! I am sorry about your coffee! It didn't get on carpet or furniture or anything, did it?

When I am gone?

Well, she is very, very good at staying in the yard if I do go out for a few minutes. But I truly don't like to do that. First, she does manage to get off of her chain and collar. Second, I just don't trust anyone as I have actually heard of people stealing dogs.

My dog is a purebred boxer so I don't want to take the risk of her being taken.

I think putting her in the cage is the best idea now. It's a big cage.

If you meant putting outside as a punishment. Yep, that's what I did. She absolutely hates being outside on her own. Detests it!

Yeah, I just meant as a punishment. I understand why you wouldn't want to leave a beautiful boxer out while you are gone.

It so sucks about your coffee though. Hopefully you can treat yourself to another one soon and actually get to drink it this time. ^_^

Hate to say it, but I do treat myself to one daily. LOL But it's my only treat. I have loved them before pregnancy and still do.

Oh well, another day tomorrow. haha

Top it all off, I was up at 3 a.m. this morning and was actually posting on here. Finally got tired around 6 and laid down for 1/2 hour before having to get up for the day. So, I've been very cranky today!

Lol aww honey that sounds horrible, I got three smaller ones, and I have to lock them all up. The little one got into the wardrobe last time we were out, and pulled all the clothes that she could reach off the hanger and then proceeded to shred them best she could, and then when she got bored she started on my shoes....When we got home I thought we'd been broken into, there was clothes and shoes everywhere!!!!

You got to laugh, or you'll cry! lol

Our dogs are shut out of the sitting room when we're out, which faces the front so they can't bark at people passing and don't get on our fancy new settees or generally trash the place!

If it helps any, one of ours is old and a rescue dog and doesn't have the best self-control if you know what I mean. He got sick a few weeks ago and left some delightful semi-solid puddles all over the kitchen floor while I was at work, and some sick up the stairs. Loved clearing that up with my constant nausea...

dont talk to me about dogs........

my bloody dog decided to go rambling last saturday.

we went for a walk, OH had his boy and was due to take him home in the afternoon (4 hrs journey) so we pout bubba in the bag, grabbed the dog and headed for the woods in the brecon beacons.

we sat for a picknick and the dog disapeared. when he came back he was covered from head to tail in shit. I mean covered, in human campers shit. OH dunked him in the river a few times and I screamed at him, subsequently frightening the baby and making him cry.

so he gives us all a flithy look and trundles off ahead. Now, he knows the route so we thought nothing of it and carried on thinking the dog had gone ahead.

gets to the car

no dog

he had taken the wrong turn and gotten lost, it took 8 hours to find him, OH mum had to come babysit, we took the kids home and headed out again to find him. Oh boy didnt get to go home until the next day.

needless to say he was thrown into the bath when we got home and was in the dog house for a fair few days
