Know how you feel with that one - Having a dirty house drives me insane. I seem to be able to cope with mess if I get to it straight away, but the more I leave it to build up the more impossible it seems!

I could never have a dog. I love animals, but dogs scare the hell outta me, and also seem so dirty and unclean. I find it hard enough to keep a tidy bungalow with a daughter to look after, and a husband to clean up after - couldn't be doing with adding a pet to that equation!

My house looks very dirty at the moment. Not having been able to even a little bit bend over without retching for 2 months means I've not been able to lift a finger and there's only so much my DH can do when he's cooking me tea and working late as well as taking care of everything else. I decided not to care. I'll deal with it all when I can!
Actually it's smack dab inbetween the front and back door. You know, it's not so much my dog but the neighbor's dog. A black lab is big with longer hair, bigger paws and a longer tail. I'm starting to train her now and when she sees me she knows she cannot come in the house. I have to do this as the neighbor just bought another lab who is 6 weeks old. That one too will get bigger and I don't want 3 dogs in my house. Mine is bad enough.

My house needs a cleaning job right about now too. With businesses run from home and kids, it gets cluttered fast!

Unfortunate about your bathroom then! lol

Why does your neighbours dog come into your house? You must be very chummy! (With neighbour and dog!)

We have a black lab (the old rubbish pooing happy one - Ebin) and the other we think is a lab-staffy cross (the clever not-so-scared-of-men one - Jess). She lab sized but staff brindle coloured. Ebin has thick hair and really short legs so he just soaks up the water like a sponge! We did buy him a waterproof dog-suit to wear on wet days but the legs were about three times too long (he has a huge barrel chest so needed a super-sized one to fit!) and my Mum said she'd take them up for me but hasn't got round to it in a year yet!

Not chummy with neighbor as of late. But my dog is chummy with their dog! So if my dog comes into my house, the other follows. Or if I leave the door open so to get some fresh air in here and because it's warm outside, their dog will come into our house to eat the dog food and cat food.
