Yes, I guess I have other phobias.

One is going out at night time by myself, even on our large property, or driving in certain areas. Night time has always freaked me out if I am alone.

A phobia of being kidnapped, etc. or of a crime targetted towards me.

Being held by my wrists. My OH laughs and bugs me by doing that to me. Oh, it drives me.

Another, being an old lady and OH isn't with me and my kids are nowhere around. I don't do well living on my own which brings me back to the first and second phobia I listed here.

[quote=Tilly;468574] is anyone like me.. if I see a picture of a spider, I can't put my hand on it..??? QUOTE]

I am just the same! Someoe put an old dead one (a big one) on my mouse at work without knowing I was scared...I put my hand on it...I absolutely freaked!! I honestly thought i was going to die, I thought my body was going to give in on me (I Know, I know....sounds totally melodramatic!)

I am not as bad as I used to be though...when i was younger i couldnt walk barefoot or sit on grass to have a picnic. When ever i went into a room where ever I was I had to scan ever corner of the room and floor just in case there was one lurking. It really did take over my life.

OK .... I Think I am the biggest scardicat to have ever existed....
Heights
Speed
Flying (naturally)
Confined spaces
Dead things
Black Dogs
Windscrean wipers being stopped when they are upright across the window
The Dark
Dying
Throwing Up (although after my Morning Sickness that one isnt that bad)
Cobwebs
Dentists
Injections
Crane flies (daddy long legs)
and my No1 fear... Spiders
I mean I am Terrified it doesnt matter of the size it can be a money spider I still freak out if i discover the spider within my main "FREAK ZONE" I scream and run if its outside my main freak zone I stand still and scream. The other day a HUGE one ran right past me and work i just froze and shouted my colleuges name constantly unti; she came by which point I had no idea where it was so I just stood there and shook for like 30 mins.
I'm so bad that I once opened up a webpage and it was a picture of a spider and I couldnt get close enough to my computer to close the window, I had to shout my dad to close down the picture of the spider!!! I also didnt speak with a friend on MSN for about a month as her screan pic was of her new spider tattoo!

oOne of my friends has a huge phobia of pregnant women it creeps her out the idea of something growing and being alive and moving inside of someone else... I never thought of it like that before but I guess it is kinda scary although its not one of my many phobias... wonder how many people the average lady with a baby bump scares everyday!

My phobia is daddy long legs (crane flys) worthless stupid things that live for 2 days...What was the point in creating those!! they just flutter aimlessly about.....usually towards my face

I also have a fear of heights, seriously i can get on a chair but i can never get down again without help,it looks and feels like 10 feet but its only about 2!

Give me spiders, snakes and anything else any day.

My BF has the balloon fear, especially small children holding them in their hands, its the anticipation of them popping so the boys have often been in tears with daddy popping their balloons hehe evil

Spider crabs. That's not spiders and crabs but spider crabs; from the giant 6 foot Japanese ones right down to the skeggy tiddlers that live in the crap on the North Sea floor (I'm a marine biologist, you'd be amazed how often I've come across these). Just thinking of them makes me feel a bit sick and gives me shivers. I can't even look at drawings of them in my marine ID guide - I certainly can't put my hand in a tank where there is one, even if I can see it and it's miles away.

Also falling down stairs. A year ago I really fell and seriously sprained my wrist. Had to wear a support for months. I've always been afraid of it though. My Mum told me a while ago that she fell down stairs when she was pregnant with me and I also fell badly when I was a toddler. Maybe that's why. I always hold the rail and now I'm pregnant I'm even more afraid!

I'm also convinced I'll die when I fly (which I rarely do, fly not die! lol). But I can fly ok despite it so it's not really a phobia.

I have sooo many...

Spiders, worms, creepy crawleys, daddy longlegs, heights, being stuck in a small space. But knives are my big one. I totally freak out if someone is chopping something in my company...as I get to trust that person I do relax a bit more. Silly considering I work in an operating theatre!! But I am in control of those knives and noone gets it til I say

Mine is those balls you get at them indoor playthings for kids...you know the ball pits! The actual balls don't scare me but the thought of being in them scares me. I will not let my kids go in them when I am with them. I have this horrible fear of some kid jumping in and jumping on my childs head and them being knocked out under the balls and I will never know!! (I think it stems from when I was younger I took my little brother to one and I couldn't find him and being panicked, that is where I imagined him to be and so I hate them now!)

oh and heights and confined spaces

Once their was a huge one on my bedroom wall at my mums (biggest one i've ever seen, the size of an orange easily (span), I was pregnant, so even more hormonal. I had the long tube of the hoover and my mum put it on, we were both screaming and I didn't touch the hoover for a long time.
