I'm Currently Feeling: | drama in the neighbourhood There was an electrical storm last night and a house down the road got struck by lightening and caught fire. Within seconds the fire trucks were there and police put flares on the road to close the road off. I couldn't see much, and it was raining and we didn't feel it was right to nose about like others were, but when that lightening struck it was the loudest bang! I jumped right out of my seat and then worried about whether bean had gotten startled too.
Then we heard the sirens and saw the smoke and everyone was coming out of their houses to see what was going on.
I hope no one was hurt and the damage is minimal. But now I am paranoid about a really tall tree that is in our back yard and I think we will have to move to the front of the house when the baby is born or I will be forever worrying about that tree falling on us. |

Everything has gone quiet on the street today so hope everything is alright for that family whose house got struck. Things like this seem more common here in US oddly. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Might be worth asking him if its ok for you to arrange it being taken down (get it in writing) - It will be at your cost but worth it if its going to panic you in any way?! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Yes I thought about that. We will have to talk about it. I hate the idea of taking down a healthy tree, but it really is very tall and right in the middle of the yard. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Perhaps a tree surgeon will be able to examine it and let you know how stable its roots are, perhaps take a few branches to minimise the risk? |
