Urgent help needed - Facebook....

Does anyone know if there's any way of recalling a message you've sent to anyone. I know it's not been read, but it's in my Sent items.

Please say I can recall it?

I've sent it to a friend an hour ago who's overdue saying it'd all be worth it when she held her LO, but I've just heard that her poor little baby didn't breathe for 6 minutes and now may be severely brain-damaged, if he even makes it. I'm in tears typing this, but the last thing she wants when she comes home is a message from me telling her it'll all be over soon!

Sorry, as far as I'm aware, you can't recall messages you've sent. The only way to get rid of it would be to get onto her account and delete the message but I'm guessing you probably wouldn't be able to do that.

She will know that you meant it in the best possible way though. You didn't know what happened. I'm sure we've all said the same thing a hundred times to pregnant friends - I know I have. x

Thanks Lauren.

I've also just emailed Facebook Support to see if there's anything they can do. Considering the circumstances, they may be able to do it for me.

I know she'll understand, but I just don't want her to see Good Luck messages when she comes home.

Poor love, I can't stop crying for her.
