I'm Currently Feeling: | Bumps on display? How do you ladies feel about pregnant bumps on display? I saw an article the other day with pics of Ulrika Johnsson with her bumpy showing just a little bit, and lots of people were leaving comments like "ewww, cover up".
It reminded me of a conversation a year back where a colleague was disgusted that a pregnant woman would "parade" herself in a bikini (she'd seen someone at our work sports club). I was shocked that anyone would think like that, but a couple of other people seemed to agree with her.
I doubt if I personally would walk around town in a crop-top, but I don't think I'd think twice about putting a bikini on, bumps are cute, I can't wait to have one to show off!
Thoughts?? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I have no problem with it! Pregnancy is a beautiful thing and pregnant ladies look gorge! Whats wrong with being proud of your bump!? Nothing that you should be ashamed of, or feel the need to hide. I certainly dont think theres anything wrong with wearing a bikini..if u had a nice figure before being pregs and would have worn one anyway, what does it matter..its not like your fat and flaunting that fact lol. I wouldnt wear a short top on purpose..but i would deffo wear a bikini! I think those who have a problem with it are just jelous..or old funny duddies no offence.Times have changed!x |

I'm Currently Feeling: | Personally, bumps on display do not bother me...but anything on display doesnt bother me...if people walk around with their "pouchs" hanging out or their hairy backs or their ugly toes...you name it. It doesnt bother me. At the end of the day, if i had the confidence to walk around with my pouch and saggy boobs in a bikini top, id do it. I like seeing people without "perfect" bodies have the confidence to walk around with bikini tops on! GO THEM!!!!! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Poor woman. There's no peace in the media, is there? Who hasn't had a bump gap between trousers and top when they're heavily PG.
Jogging bottoms, greasy hair and no makeup for me at that point! |

I'm Currently Feeling: | To be honest the woman who made the "disgusted" comment is someone who doesn't want children, but feels she has the right to comment on anyones pregnancy, childrearing skills... what a weirdo.
I guess this being a pregnancy forum we're most likely to be a little more embracing of the pregnant figure. |

I'm Currently Feeling: | i think it all depends on the way you present yourself and your bump, there are just certain things that dont look good with your bump on display
but if you want your bump out then so be it, i personally have no prob with it |
