Seen so many posts saying how their houses were clean I've found it quite amusing

So how many of you have houses that are spotless, dust & rubbish free?

How many peoples hubbies &/or kiddies actually got their dinner on time over the long bank holiday weekend until today?

Nope, house is messy and needs a cleaning. We live on 5 acres and there's lots of dirt and the grass was getting cut on the weekend. Stepkids, my little ones and the neighbor's kids were over and brought grass and dirt in. (No point in cleaning when they are here!) Plus the dog next door and mine keep bringing in mud after they've dived into the pond a few times a day. UGH!

Seriously, cleaning the floors around here can be a full-time job. I just do it and it's dirty in 10 minutes.

Although in my defense, I can't put any of my washing out because of the rain. HA.

And Matt has fed himself this weekend. Suits me

I like a clean house - i mean my house isnt spotless but yeah - its clean n tidy. And my kids are fed on time 9/10. Why is that funny? lol!!

Im not a clean-freak and sometimes its a little untidy so i am normal!! lol

Just dont look in the washing cupboad .. omg...
I cant keep on top of the dirty clothes if i used the washing machine day in and out!!!!!!

Well, one thing is, I've been keeping on top of the washing this past week and doing a few loads every day. So tired of the huge pile I have at the end of a week that it's so much easier to do a few loads a day.

my house was a shit tip all weekend because i had labour pains etc but today ive done a tidy up downstairs and brushed and mopped everywhere.

upstairs doesnt bother me because people dont usually go upstairs when they visit

Oh, I did buy something too on the weekend. I used to have this wonderful straightening iron that went up to 400 F and my hair was so straight and it worked a charm. Well, it quit working a few months ago so I bought a cheap one from the drug store for the time being. Works like crap! I knew I shouldn't have but I needed something now until I found a better one online. So that's what I bought this weekend.

I also received a few baby blankets last Friday that I ordered online. They are so cute!
