sorry just thought i should start my own diary. As some of you know i recently moved into this house on the 14th of oct, and its been one thing after another trying to decorate ect.
Im doing this thread just so i can look back when everything is finnished as i know how stressfull the next few months are going to be a head of me, and laugh at it all and think what a silly cow i was for getting so worked and stressed up about

Ok we have almost finnished the livingroom just need to get carpets down, Oh has started the hallway but hes stripping all the years of old paint off back to teh origonal wood and going to be painting it mahogany.

will be posting alot of pictures on here aswell

Come the 8th of january we will be having the kitchen and bathroom ripped out so alot of mess as they are knocking the pantry down in the kitchen to make more room for cupboards

this is the livingroom colours we now have a second hand cream leather suite we got for free
from SIL sister if that makes sence

this is the stairs half ready to be painted, still alot to do though, the left hand side banaster is the colour it will look once its all done *that was a tester to see if it was worth all the sanding ect*



lots of plaster work has to get done aswell *stupid sky people made this hole putting sky plus in



My bombsite of a kitchen, will take better ones these ones OH had took. I cant wait to get rid of that awfull kitchen and get all my flooring done and my new cooker in yayyayyay



this is the electric box, their is aboout 50 different shades of outdoor paint on this and the heat gun wont take it off so were going to ask OH dear uncle who is a joiner to see if he can make us a new one




ive still to take pics of my horrid bathroom and will be taking pics when all teh workers are doing it aswell
and will be taking more when its all finnished
i cant wait

Bump & beyond seem to be going up an down with the hosting or something same problem with tickers an other pictures.

the bathroom isnt dirty btw its just how old the flooring is and it doesnt smell

this is the mess that was behind the units, some letters were dated from 1990 to 1997

after the pantry wall was nocked down


after i cleared the mess up


now for the bathroom, i hate it so much makes me feel sick





will take some more today when all teh men have gone, today they were doing the patial re-wire and loads of holes in the kitchen for the place for the cooker, making a core vent for the extractor fan and one for the tumble dryer, the plasterers have just turned up aswell so will take more pics when everyone goes

its gonna look absolutlry gorgeous when its done, bet yourt really excited! I love your lounge.

thanks lauz yeah we both are very excited i just cant wait to get my cooker in miss cooked food so OH wont know what has hit him the first night my cooker goes in

not sure whats happening with bumps and beyond its worked for me all day when i have signed in i can see everyones tickers ect

kitchen units are fitted, bathroom is now fitted

problems

the main water pipe came lose and started leaking water, not very much thank god, all it needed was a new washer fitted

one of the kitchen units have been dropped and slightly bashed at the side so it will either get a new panel or a new cupboard

the put the extractor fan in for the cooker but didnt put a plug on it the electrician went away home back to glasgow and his boss rang him at 4pm and told him to get his arse back out and get the cooker connected

i did say that it wasnt a problem if the cooker got fittet tomoz but his boss insisted he got back out now

so its now 5.22pm and i now have 2 electricians in trying to connect the cooker good job they are nice though

will take some more pics when i have cleaned the remaining dust up
