Just found out that my bro is off to Iraq AGAIN! He's not goin for long and is goin to nearer Baghdad this time (Basra last time) He's in the RAF and keeps tellin me that where he's goin is not that dangerous, and all i keep thinkin is its Iraq??!! I know that i shouldn't worry but when he came back last year and was tellin me these horror stories about people he knew dying and having to recover bodies i can't help but worry. He signed up for it and i supported him because he's my bro and its his life long dream BUT my bro is the closest blood relative i've got (me and him against the world) because we lost our mum when we both small and neither know are bio dads. Sorry to go on but i feel like i can't talk to anyone, if i talk to my OH he just says don't worry he'll be fine before i can even start talking but last time he was away the constant checkin the news and making sure that 'if' someone had died havin to wait for it to say "next of kin informed" got me down.
Sorry to go on but now wrote this down feel better already

I'm sorry sweetie.
My husband is former US Army - he did two tours in Iraq, it never gets easier. Just keep in contact best you can. I use to keep busy making voice recording cd's where I'd babble on for hours through out the week and Then I'd make up and send creative slide shows with updated photos. All those memories of home will help

I have to say that I support our troups.... Be it from US or UK or any other country... I support our troups. It takes a strong person to do it.... brave men and women who do this....

I just wanted to say it must be horrid for you to worry about your brother all of the time and send you lots of and if you ever need a pick me up or just want someone to listen you can always pm me. I cannot imagine what you are going through but I have big ears x

I think our troops that fight for our country are amazing and I salute them and their bravery. xx
