life course

Im really struggling at the mo about what i should do with my life job wize.

No offence to anyone but i dont want to work in a supermarket or pub etc etc,

I would love to train as a nurse, but im thinking that my tattoos will stop me from getting jobs, trouble is, im not sure which type of nurseing i want to do either...

would love pidiactric(sp?) nurseing but i know i would get upset if children were really sick or even passed

Wouldnt mind elderly nurseing, but i really couldnt do the whole wipeing bum thing.

Midwiffery id love, but again, would my tattoos allow it??

Mental health appeals to me, but i dont think im clever enough for that.

Im so stuck, i want to do something in the careing proffesion but i really dont know what would be best, and wether a tattooed person could work in this industry.

Another thing thats really bugging me is that i cant do anything untill Adam is in full time school, i love him to bits, i really do, but i wish i didnt have to wait untill i could do something fo rme, instead of being a mum all the time (god that sounds so bad doesnt it)

Help? lol

x

If your tattoos can be hidden with clothes (ie a tshirt covers it) you've no problems with it - why not give it a shot? You need an NMAS form if it's the diploma you want to do or a UCAS form for the degree

I feel you on the elderly bum wiping thing..im now a care assistant and ive done a handful of shifts and i still have to leave a room when they poo...it makes me gag..which is really upsetting coz ive wanted to care for the elderly since forever....
