What about doing a childminders course?

Not sure how long it takes to train but then you can do it while you have Adam then once he's gone to school you could train in nursing and have the experience of childcare under your belt?

What about doing some voluntary work while waiting for Adam to get a bit older. Voluntary orgs are always looking for volunteers and will usually pay or provide childcare. It might give you more of an idea what you want to do, give you valuable experience in that area and you'll be doing something worthwhile as well. Have a look here http://www.volunteering-wales.net:80/index.html

I have seen alot that im interested in, manily mental health, young affenders and drug additions (very morbid arnt i) i would love to be able to work in those areas!

I know for mental health, tattos are not a worry, and do not need to be covered up, my sister has mental health problems and is sectioned and the amount of staff with tattos is unreal!

I work in the care profession support worker to young adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour, and i know in our policy it states tattos to be covered up, but no one actually does it, we have many staff who have tattos on wrists etc

As for the wiping bum etc, you get use to it, i remember when i went for my first care job working with people who have prader willi, when they said about personal care, my heart skipped a beat and i thought i can't do this, but tobe honest it doesnt phase me, you keep it as dignified as possible.
