I went away for a week to fuerteventura and in my possession in my handluggage on the way there was 1 carton of ready-made milk that I forgot to dump but no-one caught on.....but on the way back was worse

we packed in a real hurry on the friday, everything went in everywhere trying to fit in all the pressies but on unpacking my flight bag I discovered I had 3 cartons of ready-made milk and a first-aid kit with scissors in it I nearly died and it just made me think how come no-one found them, Is security round an airport not as tight as we think?

It would be interesting to hear from others.

I have seen people on the way to a sunny destination ( from canada) have to dump all their suntan lotion.
Coming back from Jamaica there was about 7 SWAT waiting by the plane door...
so it seems "someone" tried to bring a little somethin somethin back.
Airports scare the hell out of me....so I always double check my bags!!!

That was in a carry-on or was it in the bags you checked into ride in the luggage department? Cause if it's not riding with the passangers I think it can be packed for the baggage check.

I pack all my lotions in sealable plastic bags in my suitcase.....

I had all that stuff with me and the 100's of other passengers how would a pair of scissors not bleep???

and I also had to dump a bottle of suncream that they saw in the back of the buggy but yet I had loads of ready-made milk.....

Oh just to add I wasnt being a rebel trying to get stuff through security, I just forgot

A packet of razor blades

I picked them up when I was in the shop the week before for my leg razor and put them in my handbag as they were small. Forgot about them and went through to international airports without them finding them. I was gobsmacked when I got home and found them! The bag had been x-rayed a few times!

Went flying and they never checked my identity once! that was going out ans back again.

I flew to Edinburgh & on the way back I'd left a corkscrew (which I'd bought to open wine while I was there) I took my overnight case as carry on so when it went threw the scanner they noticed it. A MAN had to rumage (sp?) through my underwear & dirty clothes (in front of other passengers), was so embarrasing!! He eventually found them AT THE BOTTOM, but they did miss tweezers in my make up case!! Doh!!

I once got stopped and had my bag emptied in front of everyone, it included sexy undies and a certain ''rabbit''. I could have died from embarassment. Lol.....
