xxx | I can but how will aborting the baby make her feel any better? I'm sure there are reminders every day of the rape. If a woman got an abortion because of rape, I could truly understand why. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Maybe she wouldn't want a baby with someone that raped her? |

I'm Currently Feeling: | I didn't see the program. But this discussion makes me very sad. I am pro choice so long as it is before a certain date (what that date is I am undecided, but I know it's early) unless for the babies medical reasons (and genuine ones, I heard of a woman local to me who aborted after 20 weeks 'cos her LO had a cleft palet ).
I was just looking through Oscars book and looked at his first scan, I looked at him and you can clearly see it is him, even though he was so small. I was shocked then when I looked at the gestation date I had written.....14 weeks.
I know I could never even contemplate...... poor babies |

| I know personally I wouldn't want an innocent baby to pay for the crimes of the father. Edit: But if my friend were in that situation, and chose to abort, I'd be right by her side supporting her 100% | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I didnt see it glad I didnt. Im pro choice but feel 4 times is very excessive and im against people using it as a form of contraception. I also think that 23/4 weeks is to late for an abortion except in exceptional medical circumstances and feel it should be lowered further to 12 weeks. people dont need nearly 5months to decide if they want a baby or not. At 24 weeks a baby can survive outside of the womb with care.
Sorry if i have offended any one but this is my personal opinon and i would never judge any one else.
Personally i could never have an abortion. |

I have to say, if I was raped and ended up pregnant as a result of it, that tha LAST thing I would want would be to look at my childs face every day for the rest of our lives and see the man that did it to me.
Someone who would choose to keep their baby through such circumstances would be incredibly brave, but I couldn't possibly do it myself.
Also if you are raped, there are ways of healing your feelings about it - of course it's always going to be there, and there will be things that remind you, but would you want the thing that reminds you of what happened to be your baby?!

I'm Currently Feeling: | That Hannah girl made me sick. What a vile, vile person.
Good luck with your acting career you naive, silly little girl. I doubt you will go far after your 'performance' on that programme.
Ugh. |
