Oh, and yep, I've done the tissue thing. I was a very late starter, and got my first period on morning of my first day at work experience when I was 16! My mum had had a hysterectomy (sp?) so there was nothing in the house!!!!!!! I had to use tissue until I could get to work (luckily it was in a supermarket) and buy some before I started!

grab some gauze.........i have used socks, facecloths, paper towels, tonnes of toilet paper.....us women have to be creative!!!!!!
I have NEVER had an accident UNTIL 2 years ago...
1st week at a new job and I leaked badly.......my baggy jeans were soaked but dark enough to hide.....hope so anyway.
2nd time was on vacation.....got my period the day before a snorkle trip on a catamaran boat.....no flush toilet. Long story short it was very light but the next day i totally leaked ( it was an all inclusive all you can drink vacation)
I had visions of what could have been a very embarassing boat ride.

Well I made it to the store and all is will in the Aunt Flow area.... however, she stayed light thank goodness.... she is being nasty in other areas.....
