| Cat,Zafiras are crap for boot space it is zilch!! They also arent that great for fuel and are seen as not brill cars, why dont you go for a Scenic by renault, they are fuel effective and you can get sporty styles to entice your man,we have the 1.9 TDi priveledge and i wouldnt swap for the world it is fabtastic! Come in 5 seats normal or 7 seats which is a Grandscenic all for roughly similar price as Zafira

I'm Currently Feeling: | Tough one Cat!
I refused to get a family car, I had a Spider convertable and the idea of anything 5 door left me horrified hahahahahaha
We now have the Alfa 147, but its only 3 door. Its not been too bad, but I have a little Citreon AX (((( )))) to run about in now (DH has the 147, as he travels lots) its got a bigger boot than the 147, who would have thought!???
Im hoping for a Golf TDI 5 door next. I still cant fancy the people carriers. |

Bex. | All the reviews I have read on the parkers guide and what car rate the Zafira as the best in its class, with very cheap running costs. Generally we will only have the 5 seats up so boot space will be greatly increased by this. Plus Iwant a people carrier as we intend on having a 3rd child and Ireally dont want to have to shop the car in again in a few years, so want something that will comfortably transport a family of 5, and still have room for other people if nessisary.
Ihave found some really good loan rates so should be a lot easier to finance than I thought. So in the new year once we are ontop of the decorating Iwill have a bit of a shop around at the different mini MPVs on the market. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Last month we bought an 06 plate Vectra SRI on finance from Arnold Clark. It was between that and the Zafira. I like the Zafira. |

| Well Im biased on auxhalls, my dad worked for them his whole life, and Ihave had two Astras, as has my mum and brother had one two and we never had any problems with any of them, really great little cars. Apparntly the Zafera is the best in its class ans the highest selling with it being one in five of every mini MV sold in the UK.
But hopefully tomorrow we are going to go round some garages to look at a load of cars, maybee even something smaller like a Ford C-Max will test drive some stuff hopefully. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | I've got a 5 door Golf (an old one, not a GTI ), and DH had a zooped up 106, but I talked him into a bigger more practical car. But the only way we could comprimise with it was with him getting a Vectra V6 2.5. He wouldn't go for anything with less power, but the great thing about it is it has an enormous boot. We can fit the pram and a full weeks shopping in it, when the pushchair takes up the whole of my boot! So now, DH has to come food shopping with me, which he didn't before!!!
But now we're planning a third, I think we need a people carrier soon. I don't fancy 2 car seats, a teenager and a dog in my 'ickle golf!
Have fun car shopping today Cat! |
