Something bit me yesterday and I didnt even know it until my arm started itching and swelling. I have what looks like size of a large golf ball shaped red swell on my arm. It itches like a son-of-a-Bitch and I made the mistake of googling spider bites and bug bites. Now Im scared my arm is going to fall off....

Vickie... Do you think it could be that... Did your mom feel the bite? I didnt feel anything until it started itching... Now Im getting worried... I really should not have googled it... You should see the pictures...
I am sure it was just a mozzy! Mine swell up like that all the time, bigger depending on where they bugger bit me. If it is a boney bit it can swell huge!
Seriously tho, I am in the UK and nothing that bites us here is harmful. So i can't advise on what nasties lurk in your neck of the woods.
