But they have no duristiction in this case - It's not their decision at all and they can't tell the charity they have to give us a place... Besides, everyone's moved in now, and as much as I really want/need one of those bungalows for my family, I wouldn't want them turfing out for us to move in!
send a complaint to your local paper to puplish in the paper, i know u wouldn't get a bungalow but your view is getting across that you should of had one cos your hubby and your daughter and that people that have moved in don't need them for the purpose that they were built for and you were told that you weren't higher priotry and that the people that have moved in were more higher then u, and just put anomoes (sp?) at the bottom of it if you don't want people knowning who wrote it to.
thats just wrong!!!! for you!!! My Mum was in a 4 bedroomed up and down house and needed a disabled bungalow (she was on 24 hr oxygen and was in a wheelchair) and they wouldnt give my parents a house either until we got her local MP involved that seemed to kick there arses and they got one quite soon after that.
also a few years ago now but I needed to move villages as I needed to get away from boys dad (long story) but we werent priority ..... even tho i had restraining order on him and my Mum was seriously ill and we needed away from him and closer to my Mum we still couldnt get priority so I went to my local MP and she was great and within 5weeks we had gotten a house maybe you should try that ??
also now we live in a 2 bedroom house and when I found out I was PG we applied to get a 3 bedroom house as we are classed as overcrowded having 5 of us in here, well to cut a long story short basically I was told we had no priority until the baby was actually here as I could miscarry or hav a still birth !!!! I was so shocked I nearly punched the woman.... actually saying that to me when I was preg!!!
anyway now she is here we had to apply for over crowding and have been given a silver pass but 3 bedroom houses are like gold dust and unless we get a gold pass i cant see us getting any that come up, but been told if in 6 months we dont hav a 3 bedroom house we go up 2 gold so thats good
not sure if its just scotland do these passes but it seems to help loads of people get houses quicker that need them I just hope we get moved soon too

This is disgusting hun. You should definately put your case before someone of high standing in the community ie. an mp. These houses are perfect for the disabled, so surely they should be used for exactly that.
