yay me but OMG

I have this real phobia of bees/wasps, I came in from hanging my washing out and there was a MASSIVE bumble bee in my house I just spent 30mins squeeling because every time I tried to open the window more so it could hopefully fly out it came towards me. Managed to grab Edward (who was happily sat in his highchair eating) and get him out, geared myself up i.e thick coat, scarf, gloves and DH's beanie hat and caught it. Granted I didn't let it out for 5 mins as I though he could do with some chill out time before I ran for my life but YAY I did it all by myself. Sorry I know it's pointless but so proud

lol well done you! i get scared of insects that wont leave by themselves, like spiders etc - normally i just incapacitate them with hairspray. Cruel but effective. If they want their limbs intact they should stay in their habitat - ie - OUTSIDE!

eurgh creepy crawlies *shudders*

I usually get DH to get rid, which is pretty nasty really considering he is deadly allergic to wasps (I mean epi pen and everything) but he is at work
