kellie gone forever...

well today has just been horrible, i want it to be night time now and i go to sleep...

im not sure if many of you know but i live on a farm in the west midlands and my love aftre my family are my horses..I have quite a few was 11 but as of today 10..i woke up this morning and looked out the window to see "the old girl" lying down, well this isnt tht unusual so i carried on doing my bits and bobs, when i went out side to check on them kellie just didnt look right, her daughter jessie was standing over her tapping her with her foot, i went in the field and she looked so ill...baring in mind this horse was nearly 30 and had been blind the last 22 years of her life from being mistreated before we had her...she was rocking to try and get up and i just knew she was dying...

We rang the vet and he came and put her to sleep at 11.15 this morning, we have decided to have her cremated and have her ashes scattered on the fields with her family as we have her 2 children, her 2 nieces and her 2 granchildren her with us still...

what a sad day
