Bags under your eyes

hello, how are we all??

jus a random question really, i keep getting bags under my eyes. even though i'm getting plenty of sleep, i was told last night that this could be a sign of anemia........i have been feeling tired for a while but as far as i think i eat well, in fairly good shape (and getting better )

its gotten to the stage that on some days i've been asked if ive been fightin cause they get really dark.. any ideas?

cheers
Bowsa

Hi Bowsa... I'd love to know the answer to this too! I've been told it can be a sign of iron deficincy (though I've been tested and that's all good). I've also been told exercise helps, but I do that too. Also it's a sign of dehydration, but I drink lots of water.... I think some of it's in the genes, my little sister has it too, have you always had them or is it a recent thing? The area under my eyes is always slightly dark, just sometimes worse than others. I tend to put lots of concealer and highlighter under them during the day and cover them in eye cream at night (which I think has helped)

EDIT: Just noticed your profile says "Dad" so concealer and highlighter are probably not in your list of options!!!

pretty much the exact same, although its only been recently for me. also due to me being too manly for concealer or night time eye cream i've never tried either of those.

i thought about going to the docs but it just seems to be far to silly, "hi doc i've got bags under my eyes any help?" you know
