i put mine a bath of hot water with a drop of bleach in then used a nail scrubber to clean them properly... seemed to work a treat. Then i just hung them back up to dry.

Damn cats keep getting hairs all over mine though... seems im wasting my time cleaning them lol

I do ours in the washing machine @ 40c just unclip them and take the plastic bits out the bottom.
I use glo white with them if that helps.

pain in the arse blinds.

edited bit...
to stop em goin wonky i hang them again while theyre wet and put the plastic weights back in and the dry straight. most of our windows have radaitors beneath em so it doesnt take long.

I take them down, roll them up and put them in either a net bag or a pillowcase and put them in the washing machine, the dont tend to wrinkle this way, although I always give them a quick run over with a cool iron and hang them up damp!

Just leave them in the bath for a little while (go n watch corrie or summit) then take them out. After you've done the tel thing they'll be damp and just ready to put back up. Saw it on how clean is your house - wonderful program that it, I always feel so much less guilty for not doing whatever that day lol
