I think it might be considered murder in CA. I know that if someone murders a pregnant woman after the baby is considered viable outside the womb, its considered two counts of murder. This was passed after Scott Peterson killed Laci, its called the Connor Law. Thats so disgusting! These people should never be allowed to have children. I've always respected peoples opinions and choices, but am pro life, even right after conception. I dont understand these women.

wow, I really don't think thats legal in most states anymore. It was 10 years ago and I think a lot of legislation has changed protecting viable babies, or at least I thought so. I'm too disgusted to read up on it right now in my overly pregnant state. I can't even imagine contemplating doing that to my baby for any reason.

That's terrible. 'Your baby was a very efficient parasite?' What an awful thing to say. I have very strong opinions on abortion but I don't think here is the right place too discuss them

That is very sad and disgusting. The article says that they now regret the decision and have another child with SN. What I don't get is if you didn't want to be "Burdened" by a SN child why not give it to someone who could love it instead of murdering it? That's so wrong.

Is there no laws about how late you can have an abortion?

I know in the UK they won't do one after 24 weeks (I think it is?) and even then, anything after 14 weeks they only do it if it's completely medically necessary... it's not like you can stroll into a hospital at 24 weeks pregnant and ask for an abortion.

It is very sad.. I couldn't imagine anything like that even entering my head. I'm not against abortion, but when the baby is that far along its really disgusting.
