I'm Currently Feeling: | Corrie, Corrie, Corrie Sorry to moan, but it's doing my head in now. Why are there so many threads about Coronation Street? Even I love it I watch it every night, but I've lost count of the amount of posts there has been about it now and I keep losing what I have said and where I have said it. Someone even had a go at me for repeating something I said in another thread, but it's not my fault if there are so many threads about it. I was wondering if we could just keep to one thread about it. Sorry if it sounds like I am complaining, but I don't like to be told that I'm repeating myself because I posted something on another thread when there are so many threads about it now. I understand people need to talk about it and that, but surely one thread is enough. Sorry if I upset anyone. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | There are a couple of threads about 2 different episodes!
That is what the general chat is about & not every one always notices a previous thread depending how they view the forum new posts since last login when we have up to or more than 2000 posts in any one day! Example many people view section by section others use what can be seen at the top right of BabyandBump 390 Unread Posts
I guess I would understand your frustration if there were 10 different threads in the space of 24 hours.
I am unsure if other sections are talking of the same subject as well as in the general areas but if they are then even me doesn't get around all the board with it being so very busy and some members stay within their own areas of interest mainly those TTC - we do try and encourage members using all sections of the forum but we can not put force on that! | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | Lol, you have just made another thread about corrie after complaining there are already too many threads about it?
As Wobbles said, not everyone notices previous threads or they post about it in the section they use most often. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | One of the Corrie threads was in the trimester area and another was in General (posted by two different members) since it didn't really relate to pregnancy I moved it to general I felt the threads were distinct enough from one another that I didn't merge them together | | | | Status: Offline

If you mean where I refered to us already covering if it was realistic or not, then I wasnt having a go. I just didnt think it was helpful to repeat that in your opinion it wasnt realistic when at least one person who has been through this horrific ordeal IN REAL LIFE pointed out that its very much how it was for her. If I were her I'd have felt I'd shared my terrible experience to help you see it might actually be possible and yet you still didnt believe me. I'm sure a long running and fairly well respected TV show like this one takes the time to do its research.
Sorry if you felt I was having a go - I certainly didnt mean it to seem that way. | | | | Status: Offline

Sorry if you felt I was having a go - I certainly didnt mean it to seem that way. | I nearly died when I gave birth. I certainly wouldn't want that portrayed on the television. I don't see what the point is of frightening people instead why not encourage and build people up. What I am trying to say is that yes I nearly died and my darling baby had to be resucitated for 10 minutes and nearly didn't make it, but the nurses were excellent. In Coronation Street the nurse did not seem supportive and there were no doctors there. If you think I was upsetting someone you ought to remember that other people have had bad experiences and might not have felt like Maria did. I certainly didn't feel isolated the way they left Maria.
Anyway enough know like someone said I have made another post about Coronation Street.
Thanks to everyone who understood where I was coming from. | | | | Status: Offline

I'm Currently Feeling: | It's a soap. There will be drama. And I perhaps there was no one with Maria because they left her to be alone.
I know if I gave birth to a stillborn, I'd lock myself away forever.
But everyones' going to have different opinions and it is a touchy subject. | | | | Status: Offline
