May I give a suggestion to the forum please? Can we have an adoption forum please? Forgive me if I haven't seen it if there already is one but, I want to ask a question and it's specifically about adoption, but when I looked I couldn't see a forum for it and since adoption is something that is specialised I personally think it would be good idea to have a forum for it. Forgive me if I am stepping over the mark by asking for this because I am new here and don't want to appear like I am bossing anyone around. I happen to think this forum is exceptional and to be honest I think I am addicted to this place.

You might be better off sending a private message to Wobbles or Stircrazy. I know that right now they are very busy packing up their house for a move so they may not see the post.

I wondered about that too, and surrogacy. I mean, I haven't got to that stage yet but it could end up being an option for me.

Yes, I've thought about this - not only for people looking to adopt, but for women who are pregnant and planning on giving their child up for adoption as they may not feel they fit in in the main pregnancy forums but may want to discuss their experiences with other women who are going through the same things as them...

We had adoption & fostering before & it was not used

Surrogacy would go under the problems trying to conceive although that title only is due to change - will still be aimed for all the same reasons & long term ttc'ers.

Adoption as a second thought is parenting which we have sections for too that would fit in if you have already adopted or have a question about foods potty training and so on.
