Why would anyone want to get rid of kittens anyway? They're lovely and you can get rid of them (by selling them) in a matter of weeks. Ick. People make me mad.

That's awful! I can't believe they didn't do the surgery properly and to offer to "get rid" of the kittens for you, no I most certainly would never go back. And if it were me I'd be looking for a place to lodge a complaint against this particular vet!

Totally, I was mad at the time, well, actually I was only about 13 so I was just really sad

If you end up with kittens I might be able to take one from you, me and my kitty are moving to the UK in the summer, near Oxford.

That's terrible!!

I've only had one experience of Pets at Home vets when my cat jumped on glass on a sunday and it was the only place open...it was awful! They charged us an absolute fortune to plaster her arm up...it looked ridiculous and caused her a lot of grief!! We took her to another vets who took the plaster off and bandaged it instead and couldn't believe how much they'd charged us. All I can say is NEVER AGAIN!!

Hope it all gets sorted soon hun

xx

Actually it's quite standard for vets to offer this, think about the huge amounts of unwanted cats in shelters etc.

and it makes me mad that loads of cats are destroyed. tbh i would rather my cat has the op and gets rid of the kittens then bring more into the world. my cat is having the op next week hopefully. sorry if that makes you mad but I just hate the thought of cats being put down.

i do agree that there are too many cats in shelters etc i just wasnt expecting it i didnt even know they could do it.

its unlikely that missey is pregnant unless they left on of mayhems nuts in at the mo i think anythings poss with them.

shes booked in on the 12th of may with me minus 200£ for tests and the op

i should have just gone to a dif vets in the first place, i dont want her to have another op she was in so much pain last time, and they came back with fleas.

But her cat shouldn't have gotten pregnant in the first place...UV thought it had all been taken care of, I can't imagine how shocking it'd be for me to hear that it's possible my female cat was pregnant when I've had both cats fixed.
