Has anyone subscribed to any of the supposedly "free info" ones? I have clicked on 2 or 3 of these links (really to make sure BnB gets a few pennies...) and the ones that have come up have been *free* but you have to give your email address.

I suppose I could go to the trouble of setting up a disposable email address to sign up for one just to see, but I wondered if any of you have subscribed already? Or are they just money-grabbing scams mostly?

I've always had an email address for online activity & personal

I won't say more as I see my OH on this thread and we tend to clash in answers or be like an echo

Can't really advise on any specific ads because the are different on everyones computers (so what you see isn't necessarily what I can see).

If you don't trust giving out your email account, you could always try www.10minutemail.com


If there are any up there that you object to (due to content or ethics), send me the URL and I can filter them out.

No there's nothing offensive up there! I use yahoo so I automatically get disposable email addresses which arrive in my inbox till I decide to cancel them. I just wondered if there was anything genuinely of use that anyone had found!
