Hi, I want to get a tatoo with my baby's name..but i don't just want his name as i don't want to be boring! Ialso dont know where to have! Anyone got any ideas? I'm not very creative! x

Hi...congrats on your sweet baby boy!!!
Here's a few ideas ........
His astrology sign with initials or just initials like a monogram.
I have seen a few girls mention tatoos with their babies birth dates in roman numerals.
His hand or foot print traced with dates.......
hope this helps or gets the creative ideas going....
I am planning on a "tree of life" design up my spine with branches to represent future family member... fingers crossed its soon..hehe as I am waiting to try!

I went to a tattoo artist and we started to come up with ideas together. I eventually settled on a gothic looking cross which he did in a style that made it look very old and rustic and in the center I had a letter 'E' for Emily in the same style. I had it in the small of my back. Its quite big and hurt more than giving birth to her!!!!!

i posted a thread a few weeks back because i want to get a tattoo for bump when hes born an i ended up settling on a hand or footprint but im getting bumps hand/foot print on paper then the tattoist person can use that then having his name + DOB underneath

How about a footprint with him name in some form of fancy writing inside the outline? I dont know if its creative enough for you as im also pants at this sort of stuff.

I want one for Olivia butI already have 2 but I wouldnt know where to start or where to put it as I dont like to show mine off. I tell you something though, out of the the two I got the one on my back but on the fleshy bit to the side hurt more than the one on my hip bone.

ive got a tattoo on my lower back with outline heart with some spirals on the with jessicas name underneath it if you looking in the tattooist drawings you will find 1 that you really like or if you see a symbol that you like they would copy t if you wanted that as one good luck on finding 1 xx

I already have three- one on my tummy, one on my inner wrist and one on my shoulder blade...

Ideas so far are an angel holding a baby with Oliver's name written underneath at the bottom of my back.

OR his full name written in fancy writing either on the side of my foot or going up the inside of my wrist.

OR his footprints going up my spine with his name and DOB.

What do u think? x

I like the footprint idea.

You can go into a tattoo place and if you tell the person there what you're after they'll design it for you.

I got the idea for ours off someone else on here actually, Id never thought about it before, I want a hand print with Juniors name and DOB next to it.
