Don't worry - all food have a built in barrier of 4-7 days. You'll be fine

lol, I've eaten yoghurts far more out of date than that and still felt fine. I have a habit of eating food and then checking the date.... and sometimes even if it's out of date but still tastes ok I continue eating it anyway.

My worse have been 1 week out of date smoked salmon and 1 year out of date (but stored frozen) mini kieves. I've also eaten kieves which have been still frozen in the middle but somehow black on the outside. Thats my great cooking!! Luckily OH is a chef.

The only time I remember having food posioning is when I had some snails which tasted good but must have been very bad because I couldn't stop vomiting. The other time I've been sick from something I ate was when I ate loads of grass (I was about 8 years old and the cows did it).

if foods have a best before date then they can still be find after that date. Its more the use by ones that you need to take note of.
