I wouldn't give a toss what she did if she didn't have children as it's her life and she surely knows the risks of her lifestyle. What does sadden me is her children and the life they will lead with her choices, and possibly being left without a mother too.

What a selfish decision for a mother to make.

what on earth is wrong with some people?!?!

why would you WANT to have a heart attack
and leave your baby without a mother just so you
can go down in history as the fattiest most selfish
person to have live a very short life

and 12,000 cals a day is just plain STUPID!!!!!!

It is very very selfish for her to do this when she has children, and I'd imagine she has some deep rooted psychological problem OR is being pushed into it by her partner, possibly both. Perhaps she feels she can't be the slim, beautiful person she wants to be so would rather be remarkable in another, far less healthy way.... she can control her weight but only by gaining and not losing it, it would seem.

Suffice to say, she has a LONG way to go before being the fattest woman in her country. America is one of the fattest countries in the world and there are many people weighing significantly more than 43 stone.

Edited: I have just read the story properly (I initially only scanned it) and yes, unfortunately, it sounds like her partner is a feeder.

I'm surprised she hasn't had one already to be honest. Even if she weighed half what she does, her diet sounds to be made up almost entirely of junk - high salt and high fat. I've never understood people who cook with salt/add it to food, and I can always taste it if it's been added. It's one reason I can't really stand most take away food. Thin doesn't necessarily = healthy. High salt diet will lead to high blood pressure; high fat diet will lead to possible clogged arteries; high sugar diet may lead to diabetes. All three together with reduced activity can lead to certain cancers developing. The fact she seems to eat high fat, high salt and high sugar, doesn't keep active AND weighs about 4x as much as a woman like her SHOULD weigh, just leads me to wonder how on earth her heart has coped for so long.

That woman is completely and utterly selfish.I'm not saying that she should be stick thin because I'm not either. But she has a daughter. Why would you do that to yourself for some aspiration when she has a daughter that she should instead be looking after. Besides, what kind of example does that set for her daughter??

P.S. I'm in the US and I see most of you are in the UK so it kept saying that she weighs so many stones, does anyone know how that translates to pounds?
