I'm Currently Feeling:  | Stunned...
We just found out tonight that OH's mom had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Man I feel funny typing those words. I guess she has known for a while and it was under control. Since we last visited 3 weeks ago she has been back at the doctors today and the scan is showing rapid growth! She decided that it was time to tell us all. She has another scan appointment booked for just over 2 weeks from now to check for spreading and then will be undergoing a full mastectomy.
I have no idea what to say, I'm lost... It hasn't really hit yet. OH had to hang up with his mom for a few min when she told him so that he could get himself together. But, we're just stunned...
Sorry for the rambling but thanks to those that read and for being a safe place for me to be able to ramble. |
