I realised how it mustve come across once I'd posted that, but it wasn't as bad as it came across iykwim.

He's the most polite, well behaved 2yr old I've ever met, and she explained Daddy was bad for making him say that etc

Sorry I just felt the need to defend my sister there because it wasn't that bad.

I am pretty foul mouthed to be honest. But I have never sworn in front of my parents ever. Don't think I've even said "bloody hell" while they were around! I think because I am so used to having "a time and a place" for swearing I am able to not do it in front of Grace. I do do it sometimes but not intentionally

We were taught that we could use those words when we're adults. We used to go around wishing we were 18 to use them. lol!

I don't swear a lot anyway and neither does my hubby. I wouldn't be happy if someone else swore in front of my child though.

I don't walk around cussing all the time, mind you. I just think that in some situations, a cuss word is the most effective sound to make, like when stubbing a toe or some such thing! LOL Saying ''sugar'' or ''fudge'' just isn't as satisfying in those circumstances.
^^What she said!^^

When I was growing up, my parents would very occasionally swear in front of me - but I knew not to even try it!

What I really hate is when children swear and their parents think its funny. Really bothers me.
what they said ^^^

i swear occasionally, my 14 year old and 4 year old have never sworn infront of me ( i know my 14 year old swears around her friends) oh apart my last week when i put my 4 yr olds hair in 2 plaits and she told me she likes wearing her hair in tw@s!!!i had to explain that they are called plaits and that other word is a very bad word .(but that was unintentional, bless her, shes still learning lots of new words lol) There are only certain words i use, the basic ones really but would never use the C or T word.

My mum swears, dad never does but i still at 34 years of age would never swear infront of them.

Yesterday i had a bit of a f*ck fest due to PMT, i must have said it 10 times in a 20 word sentence while banging and throwing things about, made me feel a lot better

But she didn't tell him off, just explained it was an adult word (which I'm sure was followed by 100 whhyys??) lol bless my Nephew, he accepts 'because I say so' as a response!! Sorry for rambling, I don't see him too often so I go off on one when I think about how cute he is!!
