I actually taught my DS all the swear words..except the C one.
My reason?
Even if you dont swear at home you cant protect them from it outside at school etc and thats when they will try and copy classmates and repeat them..so i sat him down and told him all of them and explained that they were bad words and that it wasnt funny to use them and he never should etc..he was about 3 at the time, hes now 8 and has never sworn in public.

My Mum swore in front of my sister and I whilst we were growing up. She must have done something good, because I remember being 18 (after I'd moved out and had my own house etc) and I still could not bring myself to swear in front of my Mum. In fact, I hardly ever swore at all.
Now its a different story. I swear quite a bit, so does OH. We try to not swear in front of Tigs, but sometimes it slips out. I'll teach her that swearing is not a good thing and she should not do it.

I swear sometimes, but certainly not at the children. I am not generally a potty mouth, but if i hurt myself, i cant help myself. I also tend to say 'bloody' a lot, but i blame that on my stepmum, every second word she said it when I was growing up lol! If one does slip out in front of the children and its repeated, we dont even ackowledge it, we dont draw attention to it, but berate ourselves later! Only happened about twice though thankfully.

My language is quite bad, but i think aslong as you dont swear at your kids and explain their bad words then you should have no problems, But ive seen parents laugh when their kids swear its nothing to laugh about,
Both of my parents swore infront of me and my brother but we were taught that we werent aloud to say them words and my dad shouting was enough to scare me and my brother out of swearing but my mum was a bit more laid back so when she tried to control us she was crap at it i remember her giving me mustard for swearing (when my dad was out) and i just gladly ate it and said "more more" now my parents are split up and my brothers language is terrible (we live with my mum) honestly he says worse things than i hear most adults say but its where my mum was laid back about the whole swearing thing xx

I've got the worlds worst mouth when it comes to swearing....I hate to admit it but I even use the c word a lot.

I haven't curbed it yet as Bens not old enough to understand, but as soon as he is I'm gonna try my hardest to not swear in front of him. I'm using my Nephew to practice with, as at 2 he copies whatever he can!!

Although it's not funny when kids swear, my BIL told my nephew to go into the kitchen and ask my sister for tea...by saying 'oi b*tch Daddy wants some tea' it was quite funny that he copied his Dad word for word, but my sis did then have to explain that it's an adult word and he shouldn't use it. I think the only other thing he's come out with is 'oh crap' when my sis dropped something. He's just soooo adorable I can't help but go ahhhh bless he doesn't know better. But with my own I don't think I'll feel the same.

Also like others said, I was never allowed to swear growing up, and I think I've said sh*t in front of my mum twice ever!!!
